Rathfriland and Hilltown Snapshots

I'm working on several projects this weekend, but want to add a fun one that I completed years ago.  I found several undated early snapshots of Rathfriland and Hilltown on ebay and had to buy them.  When I visited Ireland in 2005 I went about recreating the images.  The original photos are certainly from the early 1900's.  The Graham's were gone by then, but the images were probably fairly close to what they would have seen before leaving for America.  It was a blast to figure out exactly where the photos were taken from and to recreate them.

Graham Brands (Colorado)

The Graham Family Colorado Brands

We're still researching the brands that the Graham's used in Box Butte County, NE, but have found the brands that the Graham's used in Colorado.  I've tried to make them look like what they may have looked like on an actual cow.

Diamond Y:  Found in the cattle brand book in the Gunnison Pioneer Museum and in the 1957 Colorado Brand Book.  It was registered to the Graham Company, Box 785, Gunnison, CO.

Lazy F Lazy J:  This was also found in the the cattle brand book in the Gunnison Pioneer Museum and in the 1948 Colorado Brand Book.  It was registered to S. D. Graham, Gunnison, Co.

The last Samuel Graham brand mentioned is the following picture.  I am not aware of the name of the brand or know of any usage of it.  It was mentioned in the 1957 Colorado Brand Book and was registered to Sam D. Graham, Box 785, Gunnison, CO.

The following brands are registered to Eugene S. Graham.  The first is the 3 Bar 3, which was found in the cattle brand book (page 64) in the Gunnison Pioneer Museum.

The other brand registered to Eugene S. Graham is the following.  It was found in the 1957 Colorado Brand Book and was registered to Eugene S. Graham, Box 785, Gunnison, Co.

I hope to find the Nebraska brands soon!  A few months ago I didn't know what any of the Graham brands looked like, so this is a good start.
